So this morning I was browsing through promo emails and came across the latest release from up and coming producer Mavrix. He gives us this great new edit featuring the amazing vocals from “Part Of Me” by Katy Perry, on top of beats from some of the top producers in the business like “Clash” by Alesso, “Cascade” by Tommy Trash, and “Peanuts” by Afrojack. Just the other day I had the opportunity to take a listen to an original production that Mavrix is hard at work on, lets just say we will all be in for a treat when it is finally released!
RIP Paul Walker & Nelson Mandela. Not much to say except that this is the last installment of the WHT TH FCK R U DNG THS WKND mixtape that I’m going to do. If any of you have anything to say about me ending this just say so in the comment box to the right. I will probably start something else soon. Until then, enjoy the tunes below. There are some good ones. Pump The Beat -
I was obsessed with Thomas Jack’s remix of Benjamin Francis Leftwich’s “Atlas Hands” when I first heard it. DJ AA managed to spice it up even more by adding Kanye’s hit song “Touch The Sky.” The combination of the tropical house vibe, the violin and Kanye’s rhymes turned this mashup into a masterpiece. Well done DJ AA.
Welcome to another edition of our ThrowBack Thursday. Got four tracks for ya that you may not have but will definitely hit the nostalgia button. Been hearing DMX a lot lately and man when this guy was in his prime he was clutch. “Ruff Ryders Anthem” is one of the best hip hop songs ever. Couple articles I’ve seen have been saying that Swizz Beatz is helping X on his comeback album. “Hypnotize U” by N*E*R*D was one of the best slow hip hop tunes ever created by the group. The “Edited Neo’s Wrath” by dubstep maniac Skelley I had forgotten about but was a crazy dubstep track when I first heard it back in high school. Lastly, check out DOSVEC and his SoundCloud and this great mash-up he made a few years ago with all the popular tracks back then. Enjoy your Thursday. One more day.

Dave Edwards has to be one of my favorite DJ’s right now. He always manages to successfully take songs and spice them up a bit by giving them his signature electropop sound. This mashup is his latest release and it happens to be a great follow up to his remix of Duke Dumont’s “Need U (100%).” Here he combined Avicii’s “Dear Boy” and Daft Punk’s “Harder Better Faster Stronger” and created a fun, new dance hit. Be sure to play this track throughout your Thursday night festivities!
Missed his previous remix? Check it out below.
