Remember that kid who people used to post about on every single electronic song because they heard about the song in his mix? This was the kid, and his mixes were fucking good. I forgot about this guy until I read about him on Garrett’s preview for Electric Zoo. DJ Bl3nd came on the scene through YouTube a couple years ago and he immediately blew up, I am not going to lie, his mixes are pretty sick. He has a hardstyle that is comparable to R3hab’s. So when I remembered him, I started to do some research and look at his YouTube channel as well as his website. What I found was really incredibly surprising, I didn’t expect it at all, Bl3nd has moved from doing mixes to creating his own original songs. Okay so what he can make an original song? Yeah but his songs don’t sound like a producer who is new to the game.
This is the first song I stumbled upon by him, “Freakshow”. It is definitely Dirty Dutch and it is actually really good. I couldn’t believe that an artist could go from just making mixes to this so quickly, in just a couple years he is producing songs like a professional DJ that has been in the business for a long time. But so what, he can do Dirty Dutch, what else can he do?
This dude is the real fucking deal and he is gonna blow up BIG after all the exposure he is going to get at Electric Zoo, if you can see this guy, you should. Good luck to this kid and I can’t wait to see what he does in the future, I have big, big hopes for this guy.
