In a display of boisterous showmanship, bass pundit Tanner Petulla rocked The Danforth Music Hall this past weekend, with support from notable affiliates Ray Volpe and Minsweepa.
Getter, who’s reputation has been preceded by comical episodes via social media, maintained his jocular persona while performing a dynamic mixture of tracks throughout his set which included Ookay’s Thief and a flip of Travis Scott’s Goosebumps by Tisoki. Like many other artists who have recently passed through Toronto, Getter highlighted the stark differences in political climate between Canada and the United states; eliciting a fervent response from the audience.
From the striking visuals (which impeccably captured Getter’s aesthetic as an artist) to unruly mosh pits, Getter flexed his proficiency behind the decks by both curating and delivering an paralleled sonic experience, featuring music from his forthcoming album, including his latest offering with Party Nails, Solo:
