As a way to launch Red Bull’s new line of drinks, they teamed up with a few artists to give that badass vibe. If you’re familiar with Red Bull’s marketing campaign, they pretty much just try and bring “cool” to the brand of Red Bull. Obviously, they’ve done a pretty good job. The main focus, at least for me, is this remix of “Sail” by Borgore. The other tracks, “Jump On My Shoulder” and “People,” are remixed by Thomas From Ghostland. Just a solid pack, and hey, it’s all free! You can check out RedBull’s campaign, with the link below!

Preview: “Incredible” by Carnage & Borgore

Video: “Descisions” by Borgore ft. Miley Cyrus

I’m not sure how I feel about this “new” Miley Cyrus. As a Disney Channel star at heart, there’s always something innocent about Miley Cyrus that can never be taken away. No matter how much she changes her hairstyle, no matter how much of a “crazy” character she becomes, nor her placement in dubstep music videos will change her image. She can try, but it wont work. The video is cool nonetheless. And Borgore kills it with his track “Decisions.” For those who were at Bounce Music Festival yesterday, this song should seem familiar. #BitchesLoveCake

Festival Preview: Voodoo Music and Art Experience

The fact that a music festival of this magnitude is being held in New Orleans should not come as a surprise. The Voodoo Experience is a festival held at City Park,New Orleans that started back in 1999 and has moved back and forth between the weekend after Halloween and the weekend before Halloween throughout the years. Known for its blending of high profile artists from all genres such as Green Day, Eminem, 50 Cent, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kiss, The Black Keys, and Duran Duran; Voodoo has brought an amazing line up to the people who are lucky enough to attend this year. As an EDM-focused writer, I will be reviewing mostly electronic artists but there are a few artists performing that I just can’t resist seeing. Although I have never been to The Voodoo Experience before, I have heard nothing but positive remarks associated with the festival and I am excited to be able to attend this year.
