News: EDC Chicago Lineup Released

For everyone waiting to see the lineup for Electric Daisy Carnival Chicago 2013, the wait is over. The Chicago Tribune released an article today entitled, “Electric Daisy Carnival: Dance music festival sets rave lineup for Joliet racetrack,” which has almost the entire lineup. I was worried that I might be disappointed with the lineup, but I shouldn’t have doubted Insomniac’s ability to get talented performers at their festivals. With headliners such as Avicii, Hardwell, Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Tiesto, Kaskade, and more, I don’t know how you could be disappointed. The lineup has a great mix of different types of artists ranging from Trance, to Progressive House, and to Dubstep. Chicago is kicking off the first EDC right as of now. If you are in the greater Chicagoland area in late May, definitely get a ticket to EDC Chicago. 3 day tickets are still on sale for $175.

Despite this dood looking like some ghoulish creature, Guetta definitely knows how to make some good ass music. Taped Rai obviously makes the song but these remixes are all pretty good and are worth a listen and a download to bulk up your music library some more. Good weekend EP I think. We got the extended original, a smooth remix from Tiesto, different electro-mix outcome from Deniz Koyu… still good, and finally, Hard Rock Sofa, the russian trio with the best one out of the bunch.

Hard Rock Sofa has been on fire as of late releasing some huge remixes. The featured remix is of David Guetta’s latest track that is nothing short of awesome. Their other big remix is “Something to Believe In” by Norman Doray and Nervo. After listening to both of these tracks I can’t wait to hear what next for the boys from Russia.
