Like I said awhile back with the Knife Party preview; I don’t usually do previews and snippets. I think they are just a waste of time. But there are exceptions. Deadmau5, to me, is an exception. He released these yesterday on his SoundCloud and they are very promising. “Moog bass + Modular” is similar sounding to “Strobe” and “Assume Control” starts off slow but we can’t assume it will stay like that… Can’t wait for his next project.

This past weekend I was down in Miami with Jay, the mastermind behind PTB, and another friend who wishes to remain nameless as I may jeopardize his secrecies. basically it was awesome and I would like to share with you guys who I thought was on their game and put on a good show. I obviously couldn’t see everyone but out of all the incredible artists I was able to see; Eric Prydz, Cazzette, and Avicii for the first day, DJ Craze on the Trapped Stage and then Laidback Luke, Benny Benassi, Fatboy Slim, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, and Deadmau5 on the main stage, and then spent most of the third day on the Ultra Korea stage where I saw a little of Zedd, Porter Robinson, Steve Aoki, Hardwell, and then Knife party and then of course jumped over to the main stage for the main event: Swedish House Mafia.
