After a huge set which closed down Ultra Music Festival 2014, Hardwell decided to release his newest track “Everybody Is In The Place.” This track samples Prodigy’s 1991 hit “Everybody Is In the Place” and is packed with the energy that you would expect from any other Hardwell track. In full celebration of the label’s 100th single, Hardwell is reaching out to the fans to ask them to participate in the creation of a unique music video using fan video of the I AM HARDWELL intro. You can get more information about this on Hardwell’s website. Hardwell is also launching his North American Bus Tour with Dyro and Dannic again. Last year, this tour was insane, and things are only going to get bigger.

“How You Love Me (ft. Bright Lights)” by 3LAU

Having been a fan of 3LAU since 2011, it has been pretty incredible being able to watch Justin grow into the extremely talented artist he is today. It feels like yesterday that I was downloading ‘Dance Floor Filth #1′ featuring mash-ups like “Dancing In The Backseat (Avicii Feat. New Boyz, Dev, Lady Gaga)” and “All Night Long (Darth and Vader Feat. LMFAO, Ellie Goulding, Mann)”. Around that time mash-up’s were everywhere, but 3LAU’s just seemed to stand out from the rest. In April of 2012 Justin launched his ‘3LAU HAUS‘ mix series, since then he has released #22 episodes. His next big move was the release of his remix for “Back To New” by James Egbert on Beatport, all proceeds from the track going to ‘Pencils For Promise‘ with the goal of raising $25,000 towards building a school for underprivlaged children in Guatemala. 3LAU matched every donation and it only took 2 months for the goal to be reached, really showing the massive support he was receiving at an early part of his career. One thing we have learned about Justin over the years is that he is all about perfection. After a year of working in the studio, 3LAU’s first original release “Escape” finally came out in August of 2013. The track was released on Hardwell’s label ‘Revealed Recordings, and featured vocals from the extremly talented Bright Lights. The release of “Escape” was only a small sample of what was to come in 2014. Earlier this week Justin dropped his second original track “How You Love Me”, once again featuring his good friend Bright Lights. Since it’s release the track has already received early support from the likes of Hardwell, Nicky Romero, W&W, and is currently siting atop Beatport’s Progressive House chart. 2014 has only just begun for Justin, having promised to release at least 4 more original tracks this year, and huge collaborations with Tiësto & Botnek. 3LAU kicks off festival season at Ultra Music Festival next week down in Miami, and is already slated for many other huge festivals this summer including Electric Daisy Carnival in New York this May. Make sure you keep an ear open for 3LAU because it’s only a matter of time before he turn’s the world into one huge ’3LAU HAUS’ party!

Mixtape: Me & My Headphones (Vol. IV)

tumblr_lga0x5qtXX1qcjmrko1_1280

This edition I just put together some of the tunes I’m listening to now and some of the awesome submissions that we’ve been getting over the past week. All the remixes are pretty solid and worth the listen. The remixes of “Stay The Night” and “Counting Stars” stood out and the bootleg of “Animals” and “New Scene” by STOGS I thought worked really well. Gets a little slower towards the end as I had to add some hip hop but if you’re throwing a party or somethin’ the Ultra Mix has everything. Enjoy the weekend guys! If anyone is interested in writing for us just hit up our contacts and send us a message.

ThrowBack Thursdays: “Love Comes Again” by Tiësto & BT

Stumbled across this song in a bootleg that Henrix did and I thought this song really stood out. We also heard what I think was the Blasterjaxx remix of this song on New Years. I put the original, the bootleg, and the remix down below for all of you to check out. The original is off of Tiësto’s Just Be album that hit stores in 2004. The song was widely popular with lyrics from BT but has now resurfaced into the festival world. You can watch the sort of stalkerish video for the original here.

Video: “Dare You” by Hardwell ft. Matthew Koma

This was bound to happen, sometime soon. I’m glad Hardwell chose to launch his 2014 career with his newest release “Dare You.” Of course, the music video challenges people to just do it. Whatever it may be, go for it and take a leap of faith. And last but not least, the video wouldn’t have been complete without everyone meeting at a Hardwell concert.

Here’s to Hardwell reaching 3 million fans on Facebook! As a thank you, he’s released his Private Edit of his track “Apollo.” The drop is grabbed out of Lucky Date’s remix, and many of the in-between parts have just been spiced up a tad. Again, congrats to Hardwell for reaching the 3 million mark, and we’re all definitely excited for the future of Hardwell music.
