With the Timeflies Tuesday cover of “Stay” by Rihanna just passing the 500,000 view mark on Youtube it seemed a fitting for the boys drop their first original single of 2013. Over the past few months Timeflies has done some huge shows for MTV including the Woodies at SXSW and performances in New York and New Jersey with artists like Austin Mahone, Sammy Adams and Ne-Yo. On the new track Rob dropped another filthy beat that is guaranteed to be stuck in your head for a long time and Cal killed it with the awesome vocals that will leave the ladies waiting for Cal to choose them. Timeflies continues to prove that they are the real deal after partnering with Island Def Jam to create their own label “Forty8Fifty”. After a holiday break from TFT we are given the first edition of 2013 and what song fits better after surviving the supposed end of the word than “Die Young” by Ke$ha. As always Cal kills the freestyle right from the start of the video and you can never forget the killer beats by the master Rob who makes their songs and covers into serious bangers. They gained some huge recognition in the music industry with the release of their EP and hit song “Swoon”. Since then these guys have been all over the country working hard and spending time in studios with artists like Mike Posner, Rita Ora. If you have been one of those people trying to get your friends to hop on the Timeflies bandwagon this will be the year that the world discover what Timeflies is really made of !!
